A Welcome Letter from Executive Director, Andrea Petsche
Dear Parents, Families, and Friends,
Welcome to The Preschool at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church! The Preschool has had the privilege of serving families since 1953 and remains devoted to its foundational mission of nurturing the whole child. Our balanced approach to learning puts students at the center and cultivates knowledge and skill alongside social, emotional, and spiritual growth. In all aspects of our school, we honor tradition and embrace innovation in our effort to lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
The Preschool also recognizes the enormous influence of our teachers. Our dedicated faculty stands committed to establishing healthy relationships and loving classroom environments that allow every child to flourish. Carefully crafted activities engage students in curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and cooperation. With a shared passion for learning through play, The Preschool’s teachers and staff invest not only in what students are learning but also in who they are becoming.
Founded on strong Christian values, our curriculum prioritizes character education in addition to academic readiness and physical development. Preschool graduates enter elementary school with the social skills and self-awareness necessary to face the challenges ahead and to contribute positively to their worlds.

Located on PRUMC’s beautiful Buckhead campus, The Preschool is an independent, faith based school, for children 12 months through 6 years-old. We are committed to nurturing the whole child in preparation for the most distinguished public and private primary schools in Atlanta.
